We are a family-owned, independent coffee shop enhancing Schenectady’s business and cultural fabric. We opened on December 3 of 2012 at 1712 Union Street with the goal of offering a social spot for friends and families to gather, relax, read or work (we have Wi-Fi!).
We offer an excellent menu at reasonable prices and a wonderful atmosphere with the type of charming and personable service that sets us apart. At Tesoros, meaning "treasures" in Spanish, we welcome you to enjoy a comfortable, artful, and South American and Spanish-infused ambiance with delicious food and drink! Whether it is a signature crepe, filled with an incredible variety of non-sweet fillings, our signature paninis, tasty homemade soups, savory salads custom-made hot and cold drinks, or fresh baked goods, we hope our customers visit us and have a relaxing and scrumptious experience!
Check Out Our Menu! We have different coffees, including espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes, and in a variety of flavors. Our teas are sourced from DiviniTea, located next door. Tesoros has also become the hot spot to host cultural events, salsa nights, Spanish meetups, open-mike nights, book signings, poetry readings, and musical afternoons. We are also available to cater your event, whether it is at Tesoros Café or at your preferred location.
We are open Tuesdays through Sunday 9 a.m - 3 p.m now; we reopen in the evenings Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 5.p.m. – 9 p.m. to offer you a delicious dinner.
